Suspension of volunteer coach leads to alleged boycott scheduled by Mills students, staff and parents of Friday night's ballgame with Pine Bluff
PCSSD Mills University Studies High School |
According to sources, students, staff and parents from Mills University Studies High School are planning a boycott of this Friday night's game between Mills and Pine Bluff over the alleged suspension of a volunteer football coach of the Mills football team, Billy Lee.
Lee's alleged suspension somehow stems from a fight that broke out between Mills Dance Team members and another Mills student at the game with Maumelle High on September 28th.
A source provided us with a copy of a video of that fight.
Maumelle Police Department provided the only report they have regarding the incident.
According to sources, Lee is the brother and uncle of one of the adults and students involved in the altercation. What part he played in the incident is unclear.
Pulaski County Special School District has not responded to a request for comments.
