LEGISLATORS ASK US FOR DOCUMENTS CONCERNING ABC ENFORCEMENT DIRECTOR BOYCE HAMLET

Amid all the rumors that tainted ABC Enforcement Director Boyce Hamlet is going to be replaced, two prominent Arkansas legislators sent us separate requests for copies of all documents we have obtained that document the pattern of Hamlet's providing false and misleading information concerning his law enforcement employment/experience and his hiring and firing by the Arkansas State Police. Readers of this blog are keenly aware that we have documented that Hamlet holds no current Arkansas law enforcement certification (he does not let that get in his way of pretending to be one) and made false statements on job applications to obtain positions that he would not have otherwise obtained had he told the truth. This is interesting for several reasons: 1.  It supports the rumors that we have reported about his being replaced. 2.  All the information we obtained is public information and is available to any Arkansas citizen simply by requesting it. Apparently pressure is being exerted to h

ILLEGAL OPERATIONS NET BIG FUNDS FOR ABC

The ABC raked in almost $200,000 in 2015 from illegal compliance operations using minors and underage adults. Previous posts have detailed how the ABC and other law enforcement agencies violate Arkansas laws by illegally using minors and underage adults to try and purchase alcoholic beverages. The ABC even provided financial compensation to their underage criminal accomplices. The Department of Finance & Administration and the ABC have refused to comment on their illegal law breaking behavior.  We are not surprised.  They also refuse to address problems with the employment of tainted ABC Enforcement Director Boyce Hamlet and his extremely troubling problem with lying and lack of credibility. The income from the fines resulting from the illegal operations is one reason they do not want to address the issue of their breaking the law using minors and underage individuals. The matter of tainted ABC Enforcement Director Boyce Hamlet? Fear of incurring the wrath of Governor Hutchinson fo

ARKANSAS VETERANS AFFAIRS DIRECTOR RESIGNS IN MIDST OF ALLEGATIONS OF INNAPROPRIATE RELATIONSHIPS WITH FEMALE SUBORDINATES

Last week Matt Snead, the Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs ("ADVA"), Director tendered his resignation, citing improvements within the agency and his need for a break. LT. COL. MATT SNEAD - HE HAD TROUBLE KEEPING IT IN HIS PANTS? Then the truth came out, Snead had been involved in relationships with females employed in his agency. Rumors were circulating within the ADVA about Snead's relationship with personnel director Sara Terry. That personal relationship began in October 2016, Snead told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. He said he and his wife separated over the summer, and their divorce proceedings are ongoing.   SARA TERRY Two ADVA employees,  John Dugan and Hope Summers, requested an independent investigation into Snead's relationships with "subordinate females" in a letter sent to Governor Hutchinson on February 7, 2017.  The letter, which was obtained by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, said the agency had become dysfunctional, and employees were

RUMORS CIRCULATING THAT ABC ENFORCEMENT DIRECTOR IS SET TO RESIGN POSITION FOLLOWING RESIGNATION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF VETERAN AFFAIRS DIRECTOR

Last week Matt Snead, the Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs ("ADVA"), Director tendered his resignation, citing improvements within the agency and his need for a break. This has sparked rumors of another pending resignation, that of tainted ABC Enforcement Director Boyce Hamlet.   IS TAINTED ABC ENFORCEMENT DIRECTOR BOYCE HAMLET LOOKING FOR A NEW JOB?   Hamlet has issues with credibility and honesty and hold no current law enforcement certification in Arkansas. There have been questions about his qualifications for such a position and as the ABC is going to be deeply involved in the licensing and enforcement of  Medical Marijuana dispensaries and how his questionable past effects the perception and ability of ABC Enforcement to function in that role. We understand that an individual with extensive law enforcement and management experience has been approached for interest in the position of ABC Enforcement Director.    And just like Hamlet, Snead has something he was

ABC RAIDS CHUCK E. CHEESE'S LOOKING FOR GAMBLING MACHINES ONLY TO FIND KIDOS PLAYING SKEE-BALL

CHUCK E CHEESE'S & FAST LANE - HOT BEDS OF ILLEGAL GAMING ACTIVITY ACCORDING TO THE ABC ABC Enforcement raided a NW Arkansas Chuck E. Cheese location and a virtual indoor amusement park named Fast Lane Entertainment after the owner of a competing establishment, Tommie Cheatham, filed a complaint.  Cheatham himself had just been ordered by the ABC to remove casino type gambling machines from his business, Short Stop, in Gentry.    TOMMIE CHEATHAM This was a pure sour grapes reaction by Cheatham and dick move by ABC Enforcement for even thinking it was a possibility. Is it possible that the ABC has no idea what Chuck E Cheese's is or what goes on there? The Chuck E Cheese's location targeted by the ABC does not even have a permit to serve any alcoholic beverages and the ABC has no regulatory authority to conduct any sort of investigation there.  Surely before this investigation commenced someone at the ABC checked to see if that store held a permit from the ABC.
