Little Rock City Attorney requests opinion from Arkansas Attorney General over FOI requests for records involving the police chief shooting incident on New Year's Eve

Problematic LRPD chief Humphrey (L) and City Attorney Tom Carpenter (R)   Little Rock City Attorney Tom Carpenter has requested an opinion from Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge regarding Freedom of Information requests made to the city for records concerning the shooting incident on New Year's Eve involving the problematic LRPD chief Keith Humphrey.   The request included a 15 page document.     LR City Attorney Requests an AG's Opinion by Russ Racop on Scribd     Carpenter sent a copy of the request to the mayor and the city board of directors. Carpenter included our FOI request on pages 8 and9 (see document embedded above). We are prepared to file a AFOIA Denial of Rights lawsuit against the city and the mayor should our request be denied in whole or in part. We have won several of those lawsuits against the city in the past and feel certain we will prevail again.
