MEMS employee fired for faking an emergency to get out of traffic jams

Brianna "Bri" Dial got shitcanned from MEMS for faking an emergency run to avoid traffic On August 30th, we made a Freedom of Information request to Metropolitan Medical Emergency Services ("MEMS") for copies of personnel files for all current MEMS employees. They provided those records on November 4th. On November 11th, we received information from a MEMS insider. The insider was correct.  Dial's personnel file was included in those provided to us by MEMS and there was nothing in it to indicate that was no longer a MEMS employee or that she had been fired. We had to fight MEMS to get them to release records about Dial's termination. Reluctantly, MEMS provided a copy an an email.   We pressed MEMS for additional records concerning Dial's termination as in previously obtained personnel files of terminated MEMS employees,  there were records that dealt with their termination of employment other than a solitary email. LRPD cop James Stone fired for an innapropriate relationship with a suicidal woman after responding to calls at her residence

  According to records that the Little Rock Police Department refused to provide us in response to a Freedom of Information request, they fired probationary cop James Stone for violating departmental policies when he had an innapropriate relationship with a mentally disturbed, suicidal female after responding to calls at her residence. James Stone Domikia Davis, a LRPD cop assigned to their FOI Unit, told records about Stone could not be provided because he was not fired.   Domikia 'Dee Dee" Davis By the way, Davis herself has a lengthy disciplinary history at LRPD.  Davis and her supervisors at LRPD did not know we had this letter. A letter from LRPD chief Heath Helton to Stone terminating his employment.   The copies of body worn camera videos made when LPRD cops responded to the suicide attempts are not exempt from disclosure under the AFOIA even if they are referenced in an investigation that does not result in suspension or termination as they were not created...
