MEMS employee fired for faking an emergency to get out of traffic jams

Brianna "Bri" Dial got shitcanned from MEMS for faking an emergency run to avoid traffic

On August 30th, we made a Freedom of Information request to Metropolitan Medical Emergency Services ("MEMS") for copies of personnel files for all current MEMS employees.

They provided those records on November 4th.

On November 11th, we received information from a MEMS insider.

The insider was correct.  Dial's personnel file was included in those provided to us by MEMS and there was nothing in it to indicate that was no longer a MEMS employee or that she had been fired.

We had to fight MEMS to get them to release records about Dial's termination.

Reluctantly, MEMS provided a copy an an email.

We pressed MEMS for additional records concerning Dial's termination as in previously obtained personnel files of terminated MEMS employees,  there were records that dealt with their termination of employment other than a solitary email.

MEMS did not provide those records, but they did provide a two page document from MEMS employee Daphne Reyna.

According to Reyna, on the way back from Little Rock from Colt, they were stopped or slowly moving on the interstate for around three hours. Reyna mentioned U.S. Marshals, but it was an accident that stalled traffic.

Based on the Reyna's statement this is the route taken after she and Dial transported an individual from Little Rock to Colt.

After getting back on the interstate, they got stuck in another traffic jam closer to Little Rock. This is where Dial turned on the flashing red lights and siren to get out of the traffic jam. At one point a cop had the road blocked and Dial put the window down and told the cop that they were responding to a call.

In her statement, Reyna says that Dial had a reputation for acting impulsively and having anger outbursts. She went on saying, that she does not thing it is due to lack of training, rather Dial has issues with ethics, integrity, reckless behavior, competence and mental health issues. WTF?

Reyna's statement references a video recording.

We asked MEMS for that too. They claim that by the time Reyna reported the incident the video had been written over.

That seems odd as the incident occurred on August 26th and Dial was fired on September 6th, about 11 or 12 days. More BS from MEMS.

Reyna' personnel file was also provided to us by MEMS in response to that non-connected FOI request we made on August 30th.

It reflects that Reyna is a dispatcher. It does not reflect her advancing to or changing to any other position. Why was a dispatcher driving an ambulance?

Dial's file shows she was hired after Reyna had been trained to be a dispatcher.

It is interesting to see that Reyna's salary as a dispatcher was higher than that of Dial as an EMT.

Perhaps Reyna being able to speak Spanish was a factor in that.

In addition to Dial having those issues that Reya mentioned, apparently she and her LRPD cop boyfriend, John Fusaro,  stole time back in April to view the solar eclipse.

According to Dial's Facebook page, she is now working at UAMS.

We sent a FOI request to UAMS for a copy of her application for employment to see if she told them she was fired for cause from MEMS. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, we had not received it at the time of publication (check back for updates).

MEMS is a poorly run operation and the way they deal with FOI requests will cause them legal and financial headaches.

Arkansas State Police Troopers fired for illicit sexual relationship

Two Arkansas State Police Troopers were fired on April 5, 2024 after administrative investigations were conducted into accusations that they were romantically involved. Sgt. Mark Austin Blackerby (38 and married) of Scott and Trooper Jessica Diane McCord (30 and single) of Conway during their interviews with the State Police Office of Professional Standards ("OPS") in January 2024, were dishonest about the affair according to records provided to us by the ASP. Blackerby and his wife Cassie - a Jacksonville cop Initially, the investigation focused on Blackerby and both Blackerby and McCord denied a sexual relationship even though ASP vehicle tracking systems showed their vehicles parked at secluded locations for hours at at time and his vehicle at her home in Conway multiple times when he was on the clock. Blackerby admitted that he also disabled the tracking devices in his vehicle to try and hide his movements and their hookups.  Blackerby told investigators that he is a ...

Fired Dover City Marshal Nathan Jones Accused of Exploiting Dying Man to Take Control of His Estate

A video of a part-time Dover, AR city marshal threatening a local business that went viral on social media, resulted in his termination of employment on October 1st.   Here's the video. Apparently Jones was the subject of rumors in the town. Rumors about meth pipes and the 479 Smoke Shop.   According to records obtained from the Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards & Training ("CLEST"), Jones previously worked part-time for the Dover Marshal's Office from October 26, 2007 through January 2, 2009.   Jones was also elected in 2023 as the Martin Township Constable and held that position under he lost to Ricky "Perch" Parks in 2025.   Don't worry about Jones losing his part-time job. As his campaign literature detailed, he owns a couple of businesses in area. During our investigation of Jones for this story, we found that he had been accused of exploiting Daniel L. Koester, 64 years old, who had cancer and had been in hospice after sufferin...

LRSD investigation file of Kendahl Davenport's entanglement with student leaves more questions than answers

An "unprofessional" relationship between a Parkview student, Justin Lanier and a teacher Kendahl Davenport was the talk of the town this week  ________ We were contacted by a LRSD employee/whistleblower over the weekend and broke this story on April 13, 2026 at 7:43 a.m. Other media outlets saw our post and scrambled to catch up. Our post about this on social media and other news outlet regurgitating it sent LRSD into a tailspin and the superintendent issued a statement. LRSD attempted to spin the story with little success. We submitted AFOIA requests to LRSD for copies of personnel files and records regarding applicants for the position that Davenport was hired to fill. Other news outlets continued to post stories. And they specifically referenced our April 13th social media post that broke the story and indicated that it going viral was problematic for the school district. Unrelenting pressure on LRSD from news media and citizens forced the superintendent to issue another s...
