LRPD reports incorrect number of killings/ homicides that have occurred so far in 2022

The Little Rock Police Department never accurately reports the all of the killings/homicides that occur in the city. They say they only report the ones that the FBI requires them to report.

At at press conference yesterday, the problematic police chief claimed that 14 homicides had occurred so far this year. He left out two, both of which were the result of being killed by a vehicle.

Snarky Media collects records from LRPD and the Pulaski County Coroner to keep track of all killing in the city.

The February 12th killing of Angela Ingle is not included in the LRPD numbers even though they are actively seeking her killer to be charged with her death.

Similarly, the death of Jeremy McCool on March 13th is not included even though he was killed as a result of a car race gone bad on I-30 near 65th Street here in Little Rock. McCool and his wife were struck by one of two cars racing on I-30.

The LRPD chief and his boss, the feckless mayor, can try and bamboozle some folks, but not us.

Martin joined the ASP as a recruit in January of 2007. Records from his personnel file indicate he was from Boone County and he was posted there after graduating troop school. Martin was promoted to Trooper First Class in July 2011 and Corporal in July 2014. In late 2019 and early 2020, Martin tried to get transferred to a Criminal Investigation position in Boone County but was unsuccessful. Arkansas State Police Troopers fired for illicit sexual relationship

Two Arkansas State Police Troopers were fired on April 5, 2024 after administrative investigations were conducted into accusations that they were romantically involved. Sgt. Mark Austin Blackerby (38 and married) of Scott and Trooper Jessica Diane McCord (30 and single) of Conway during their interviews with the State Police Office of Professional Standards ("OPS") in January 2024, were dishonest about the affair according to records provided to us by the ASP. Blackerby and his wife Cassie - a Jacksonville cop Initially, the investigation focused on Blackerby and both Blackerby and McCord denied a sexual relationship even though ASP vehicle tracking systems showed their vehicles parked at secluded locations for hours at at time and his vehicle at her home in Conway multiple times when he was on the clock. Arkansas State Police Trooper fired

I n June 2023 a teenage female filed a compliant with the Arkansas State Police ("ASP") about Corporal Michael Valentin, an ASP Trooper stationed in Harrison, AR. In her complaint she alleged that Valentin had groomed her and had sexual activities, while on duty, with her and another minor female. She also alleged he was stalking her. An internal investigation was opened. Both teenage females were interviewed as was Valentin. The girls stated that they were acquainted with Valentine because one of them was the stepdaughter of a fellow trooper and Valentin was a frequent customer at the restaurant that the fellow trooper and his wife owned, where both of the girls worked.
