On Saturday we shared a link to a story by our content sharing partner in NWA, Today in Fort Smith, that revealed that Fort Smith Police Officers were told that participation in the Special Olympics Torch Run was coming to an end for them.

In our post, we listed phone numbers for Geffken and Clark and suggested that folks call them about their dissing Special Olympics.

Apparently that happened.

Before 11:00 a.m. today, a press release was issued that claimed a "misunderstanding between members of the command staff" was to blame and
FSPD would be involved in the Special Olyumpics Torch Run after all.

At last count there have been over 11,000 hits on our post. Calls, emails and letters have been pouring in from readers in Fort Smith about that post as well as the one about the porn viewing city employee.

A common thread in the communications is problems that exist with Fort Smith city leadership (does that sound familiar to readers of our Bad City of Little Rock blog?).

From the information that has been flooding into us and what we have seen reported by Today in Fort Smith, they need to clean house up there like we do down the river in Little Rock.

PCSSD teacher Reagan Gray is being investigated by LRPD Since December 10, 2023, The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette has published around 20 articles about Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock, AR and an ongoing scandal involving sexual abuse committed by adults upon children and the coverup of that abuse. Immanuel Baptist Church ("IBC") is perched on a hill near the intersection of Shackleford Road and West Markham Street in the western part of Little Rock overlooking Interstate I-430. Their campus includes the old Kroger store that they have converted into their City Center that they describe as " a ministry of Immanuel Baptist Church for the city. Little Rock pastor takes his own life after complaint of sexually explict conduct with a minor child

On April 24, 2024, Tyce Michelle Scroggins found what she has described to authorities as "inappropriate text and pictures" on her husband's cellphone. The messages were between her husband, Michael Todd Scroggins, the senior pastor at Moody Chapel AME Church in Little Rock and a minor student at LISA Academy High School. Moody Chapel AME Church An argument ensued about the text messages and Pastor Scroggins left the home. On April 25th, Mrs. Scroggins filed a report with the Little Rock Police Department about the text messages. She also notified LISA Academy administration. On April 28th, Mrs. Scroggins filed a missing person report with the Sherwood Police Department. Sherwood Police put out an alert on social media. On April 30th, Little Rock Police found Pastor Scroggins dead from an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound in his vehicle parked in the back parking lot of the church. England High School teacher caught having sex with a 18 year old former student in a car in a park

England High teacher Courtani Bell and former student Kaylin Sullivan On Monday January 8, 2024 at around 6 p.m., an England, AR cop caught Courtani Bell (W/F 29) a teacher at England High School engaged in "public sexual indecency" in the back seat of Bell's car in a public park with a former student, Kaylin Sullivan (B/F 18). Here's the police report. The court date for the randy pair is set for February 22nd in England District Court. Bell is married (for the time being as a source says he's left her) and lives in Sheridan with her hubby Layton. Bell's cuckholded hubby works at the Sheridan Police Department as a cop. Sullivan, will turn 19 in February 2024. There are questions surrounding the commencement of their relationship and did it began when Sullivan was a student?
