Exactly who and what part of the leadership at LRPD is allowing this kind of very disgusting and degrading service in our communities. This type of behavior just continues to add to the systemic issues between police and the Black community.
It’s no wonder that Blacks continue to face a significantly higher probability of experiencing threats of higher levels of physical and fatal force from police officers. This footage is a prime example of how and why that could happen.
Apparently this store clerk called police dispatch stating that a subject had threatened to shoot him. Leading the dispatcher to conclude that there was an active “Disturbance with a Weapon” at the store.
When the police (Officer Shook) arrives , he initiates a felony takedown to a compliant individual. He soon discovered that the subject was not armed nor did he have any kind of weapon. And the subject had remained at the scene!
What is extremely puzzling to me is the fact that I have been serving in the capacity of a police officer for over 34 years and I have never known a felony takedown to include the barrel of a handgun being placed at the back of the head of an unarmed complying subject.
These threats of force are becoming more and more rampant in this city. Just a few weeks ago a white female police officer attempted to initiate a fight with a black male who clearly seemed to have some mental health concerns.
In the midst of a struggle with police the initiating (female) officer proclaimed “he’s got my gun” to which, the black male replied “ woman you tripping I don’t have your gun!
Back to this story.
The sad reality is…a number of officers who work with or around Officer Shook feel that he is a spark that’s looking for a fire to light. These are still photos…just wait until you see the video that shows his fellow officer(s) push the gun away from the subjects head basically implying that he(Shook)had gone too far.
Officer Shook narrated and documented his actions in the attached narrative. But strangely he omitted the part where he placed the barrel of his service weapon against the subject’s head while pulling the subject’s hair.
Oh…. obviously the store clerk was so afraid and distraught that he did not want to pursue charges. And this very bad guy who was treated like a high level criminal, was given a ride home by the po-po! Go figure!
This is what happens when truth and transparency is absent from the mind of those who have sworn to serve and protect!
THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED!

Watch the video's we obtained from LRPD of the incident. Notice that there is no reference made by Shook to the responding supervisor that he put his gun to the back of the innocent man's head in any of the videos. You will see that one of the other cops pushed Shook's hand and gun away from the man's head. LRPD illegally redacted audio of their cops chatting with MEMS employees about wages and other matters. (additional videos will be added as we load them up to YouTube).
Sources tell us that Shook is a "loose cannon" and that he does stuff like this all the time.

| LRPD loose cannon cop Thomas "KillShot" Shook |
Our LRPD sources tell us that recruits are not trained to place a gun to the head of suspects and doing should result in disciplinary actions.
We think he is a weak man and is actually so scared to go on patrol that he gears up like he is going into combat even in the sweltering 93 degree weather.
We have requested a copy of his personnel file and copies of all his use of force reports as well as all complaints made about him.
Check back for updates.
