Scott Administration trys to cover up connection with child pornography case involving city employee who worked with kids

Eric Mark Bowden (44 W/M), of North Little Rock was arrested on July 7th by investigators from the Arkansas Attorney General Office Special Investigation Division and charged with 30 counts of possession of child pornography, a Class B felony offfense.

In Arkansas, a Class B felony is punishable by a prison sentence of 5 to 20 years and a fine of up to $15,000.

Here's the press release from the AG's office.

What law enforcement and the mainstream media didn't tell you about Eric Bowden is that he is a long-time city of Little Rock employee (since 2000) and is the facility manager at the First Tee Golf course. That facility and it's programs are for children ages 5 to 17.

In fact we had to fight with the Scott Administration yesterday to get this public record that shows he is a city employee.

The Scott Administration Park & Recreation Department refused to acknowledge Bowden was an employee and discuss his arrest. In fact they hung up the phone when we held them accountable for refusing to provide this list.

We were tipped off about Bowden being a city of Little Rock employee by another city employee and we broke that news yesterday.

The city has scrubbed any mention of him from the Park & Recreations and both  Rebsamen and First Tee Golf course Facebook pages. But not before we took screenshots. Here are a few of the posts they removed.

Bowden and Bill Clinton at Rebsamen Golf Course in 2020

If you Google Eric Bowen Rebsamen and click on images this pops up.

If you click on one of the images this pops up.

Why would the Scott Administration not be open and transparent about the employee and provide information to citizens and parents of kids that he had contact with at First Tee since he moved from Rebsamen in May of 2022?

Wouldn't it have been better to make all aware of his arrest and offer services to kids that came into contact with him at First Tee. What if kids involved in activities at First Tee were victimized by him and he took photos or videos of them, on city property, while he was on the clock? Could First Tee kids be included in the 30 counts filed against Bowden?

Don't expect the Scott Administration to tell you. They are in the circle the wagons mode.

This isn't the first time Bowden has been arrested for criminal acts. According to records found on ARCourts, Bowden was found guilty of harassment around the time he was hired by the city back in 2000 and he was found to have violted a no contact order in 2015 when he was working at Rebsame Golf course.

Apparently Bowden harassed a woman named Kristen Tippitt and got arrested and charged. Bowden was able to get a deal (probation) and if he kept his nose clean for a year, he was off the hook. A no contact order was issued and he walked out of court. Before his probation was over, he violated the no contact order and got arrested again. Facing jail time, Bowden caught another break when his victim asked the prosecutor/court to take it easy on him so they amended the charges to contempt of court.

Instead of firing him in 2015,  the city ignored these red flags and other tells and let him slide too.

Now they are trying to erase any connection to him, but they have us to hold them accountable.

We requested a copy of Bowden's personnel file and as expected, the Scott Administration is trying to prevent that as well.

Stay tuend for updates.

Arkansas State Police Troopers fired for illicit sexual relationship

Two Arkansas State Police Troopers were fired on April 5, 2024 after administrative investigations were conducted into accusations that they were romantically involved. Sgt. Mark Austin Blackerby (38 and married) of Scott and Trooper Jessica Diane McCord (30 and single) of Conway during their interviews with the State Police Office of Professional Standards ("OPS") in January 2024, were dishonest about the affair according to records provided to us by the ASP. Blackerby and his wife Cassie - a Jacksonville cop Initially, the investigation focused on Blackerby and both Blackerby and McCord denied a sexual relationship even though ASP vehicle tracking systems showed their vehicles parked at secluded locations for hours at at time and his vehicle at her home in Conway multiple times when he was on the clock. Blackerby admitted that he also disabled the tracking devices in his vehicle to try and hide his movements and their hookups.  Blackerby told investigators that he is a ...

Fired Dover City Marshal Nathan Jones Accused of Exploiting Dying Man to Take Control of His Estate

A video of a part-time Dover, AR city marshal threatening a local business that went viral on social media, resulted in his termination of employment on October 1st.   Here's the video. Apparently Jones was the subject of rumors in the town. Rumors about meth pipes and the 479 Smoke Shop.   According to records obtained from the Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards & Training ("CLEST"), Jones previously worked part-time for the Dover Marshal's Office from October 26, 2007 through January 2, 2009.   Jones was also elected in 2023 as the Martin Township Constable and held that position under he lost to Ricky "Perch" Parks in 2025.   Don't worry about Jones losing his part-time job. As his campaign literature detailed, he owns a couple of businesses in area. During our investigation of Jones for this story, we found that he had been accused of exploiting Daniel L. Koester, 64 years old, who had cancer and had been in hospice after sufferin...

LRSD investigation file of Kendahl Davenport's entanglement with student leaves more questions than answers

An "unprofessional" relationship between a Parkview student, Justin Lanier and a teacher Kendahl Davenport was the talk of the town this week  ________ We were contacted by a LRSD employee/whistleblower over the weekend and broke this story on April 13, 2026 at 7:43 a.m. Other media outlets saw our post and scrambled to catch up. Our post about this on social media and other news outlet regurgitating it sent LRSD into a tailspin and the superintendent issued a statement. LRSD attempted to spin the story with little success. We submitted AFOIA requests to LRSD for copies of personnel files and records regarding applicants for the position that Davenport was hired to fill. Other news outlets continued to post stories. And they specifically referenced our April 13th social media post that broke the story and indicated that it going viral was problematic for the school district. Unrelenting pressure on LRSD from news media and citizens forced the superintendent to issue another s...
