| LRPD officer Sarah Rachel Hicks drives an unmarked vehicle home Hicks is one of the mercenary officers that LRPD and the city claims to live in Little Rock simply because she has a Little Rock mailing address. Hicks does not reside within the city limits of Little Rock as her voter registration details - she cannot vote in any city elections.  Taxes from her personal property do not fund her salary or city public schools.  As you can see, Hicks uses her city of Little Rock email address for personal business. You can be sure that we have requested copies of her emails and attachments. Hicks drives an unmarked, leased vehicle to and from work/home and LRPD has refused to provide fuel costs for her vehicle. 
 LRPD and the city of Little Rock refused to provide us information regarding the city where the take-home cars go. So much for being transparent and open. They provided it last year and you can read our post about that by clicking here. Since they refuse to provide the information (the take home city is what we requested), we will post where these vehicles are actually going (their address which was not requested and is exempt under the AFOIA) and how much we pay for the fuel to provide transportation for these officers to drive to and from their homes each day. More than half of all LRPD officers refuse to live in the city of Little Rock and be a true part of our community. Those are mercenary officers.  Most all of the LRPD take-home vehicles go to homes outside of Little Rock.
Many LRPD officers that have take-home vehicles use them to drive to and from off-duty jobs where they moonlight at security for merchants and direct traffic at churches on Sundays. We believe this violates certain state laws and will be filing complaints with the Arkansas Ethics Commission concerning this illegal activity. All the information used in this post is public information, readily available from the Internet or from a Freedom of Information Request. We used the interwebs in this instance. ### Hick's is currently involved in a civil lawsuit that centers around her filing a false report and lying in a hearing.   Hicks was, and probably still is, involved in a nasty custody battle with another LRPD officer, Tabitha McCrillis-Carter-Gurley (one of the officers involved in the homicide of Eugene Ellison).  They were once in a "domestic partnership" but that went sour and they parted.  *** That case wound up going to the appeals court.      Stay tuned for updates about that civil case. |
Mugshot of ADC Major Ivory McDaniel According to booking records, Ivory Truall McDaniel was arrested early this morning by Little Rock cops after he beat 23 year old year Joshua Bess with a pair of brass knuckles (an illegal weapon in Arkansas) and stole the cellphone of a 26 year old Tamisha Patton out of her hand while she was calling the police to report the attack on Bess. McDaniel fled the scene at the Arbors of Pleasant Valley apartment complex on Hinson Loop Road and was apprehended by LRPD cops at another apartment complex on Green Mountain Drive. McDaniel faces three Class D felony charges and one misdemeanor charge. McDaniel is a Major with the Arkansas Department of Correction at the Varner Unit located south of Pine Bluff. We reached out to the Department of Corrections for comments, but they had not responded to our request at the time of publication.
