Mugshot of Darrell Scott, brother of LR Mayor Frank Scott Russ Racop July 7, 2020 We were tipped off yesterday by a source at LRPD that the brother of the Little Rock mayor had been arrested for stealing a car and kidnapping.     Photos of NLRPD officers taking Darrel Scott into custody at McCain Mall in North Little Rock. We sent an email to the feckless mayor for comments but he never responded. In May, a petition to involuntary admit Darrell Scott for  observation and treatment of mental illness was filed.  Another petition was filed in late June. It was dismissed on July 1st because Darrell Scott could not be located. Perhaps the mayor should have sent his LRPD bodyguard team out to find him. Maybe the auto theft and kidnapping could have been prevented had he been found and hospitalized. Sgt. Marcus Daniels - Arkansas State Police   Russ Racop June 29, 2020 The Arkansas State police identified the Trooper that shot and killed a man over the weekend in Little Rock as Sgt. Marcus Daniels. Trooper Daniels was the subject of a social media post of mine last month as he lied about raising a fist in the air at a protest at the state capitol when protestors shouted "fuck the police". A State Trooper with the license plate "A9" was seen raising his fist in the air in support of protestors that were chanting "fuck the police" at the Arkansas State Capitol building on May 30, 2020. It was captured on a live stream video of a protestor.
