What happened to the Little Rock Slasher?

We coined the name Little Rock Slasher for the serial killer

On April 29, 2021, the Little Rock Police Department posted a video on YouTube that alerted the citizens of the safe city of Little Rock about a serial killer that was using a knife to brutally attack and murder individuals.

First Victim

The first murder occurred on Monday August 24, 2020 at 2200 S. Gaines Street and the victim was Larry Eugene McChristian (W/M, age 64).

McChristian was from Yellville, AR (the town that used to drop a live turkey from an aircraft during the annual Yellville Turkey Trot Festival). He was staying with a daughter that was on probation and lived in little Rock at that time.

McChristian had gone to the emergency room (via ambulance) at the UAMS hospital on August 20, 2020 and was discharged at around 6 a.m. on Friday August 21, 2020. UAMS could not reach his daughter by phone and they gave McChristian information about homeless shelters and a bus token.

His daughter filed a missing person report with the UAMS police department.

Two days later, when LRPD responded to the call about the incident on S. Gaines Street, they were able to identify McChristian by the UAMS discharge papers they found on his body.

LRPD claims they have no records or reports about McChristian being reported as a missing person.

A security camera from a nearby residence captured the attack. According to a witness, Matlida Buchanan, a neighbor resident near where McChristian's body was found. Buchanan said she woke up to someone banging at her door, and the person at the door said they had called police because they discovered a dead body.

The person who found McChristian was passing through the neighborhood and saw the body laying in the yard at 2200 S. Gaines Street. Buchanan said her neighbors who have video surveillance said McChristian was stabbed to death.

Buchanan told a local tv station reporter, “it seems that the person who stabbed Mr. McChristian came north, was walking north on Gaines Street and stabbed him, and walked away and came back and stabbed him again and stood there while he died”.

It's important to note that at that time, From His Throne Ministries was located at Roosevelt & Arch, not far from where McChristian's body was discovered and that they provided   meals to homeless individuals and stayed open as a cooling shelter if the weather was extremely hot.  It was not unusual to find folks sleeping outside their building when they were closed.

Second Victim

The second murder occurred on Wednesday September 23, 2020 at an abandoned house at  4218 W. 12th Street (it has since been torn down). The victim was Jeff Welch a/k/a "Old School" (W/M, age 62). The abandoned house was used as a shelter by homeless individuals.

Welch's body was discovered on the front porch of the boarded up home by a friend named Taggart that was looking for a place to get out of the rain.

It's unclear why LRPD was shying away from declaring this incident as a homicide as the victim had multiple stab wounds in his neck. Also they stated the victim was Black when he was not in social media posts.

Third Victim

On April 11, 2021 Debra Walker (W/F. age 43) was savagely stabbed multiple times by a knife wielding attacker at the intersection of 19th & Marshall.

Walker was taken to UAMS and medical staff discovered that she had been stabbed at at least 15 times all over her body.

Walker told LRPD cops that she was attacked by a Black man and not much else.

Walker had been arrested many times by LRPD for indecent exposure, loitering, and prostitution so she had little use for LRPD cops or detectives.

She also had another reason for keeping quiet, she knew her attacker (more on that in a minute).

Walker was the first victim of the Little Rock Slasher to survive.

Fourth Victim

On April 12, 2023, the very next day after the attack of Debra Walker, Marlon Franklin (B/M, age 40) was found on an overpass near 2710 Wright Avenue suffering from stab wounds.

Folks in the safe city of Little Rock were terrified. Posts about the serial killer were all over social media. News stories played up the serial killer aspect.

LRPD plastered flyers all over the city.

Our own Ean Lee Bordeaux is a resident of the neighborhood were the fourth incident occurred.

We canvassed the neighborhood looking for camera footage and witnesses.

Multiple residents of the area related information to us that an individual had pulled a knife on them and they state he is known in the neighborhood as the "stalker" and goes by the street name "Juggler". Residents state he is the individual that "stabbed the woman" (the one that survived the Little Rock Slasher attack). The also told us his real, government name.

One man we spoke with told us that the Slasher had pulled a knife on him when they both lived in a boarding house near the intersection of 19th Street &  MLK Drive. The Slasher was kicked out of that house and he moved into another boarding house up closer to 19th & Marshall. He said it was a big yellow house. That man also told us his real, government name.

We also spoke with the surviving Stalker victim Debra Walker.  Walker told us that she knew her attacker and confirmed his name. The same name other individuals gave us.

Around that same time, Ean Bordeaux caught the Stalker on his security cameras.

Law Enforcement agencies were notified about our findings. Sources report that LRPD made a visit to the boarding house.

The landlord of the boarding house kicked the Slasher out and sent us a photo showing him leaving the home and walking away.

The Little Rock Slasher?

In May of 2021 and again in April of 2022, LRPD and the feckless Little Rock Mayor had little to say about the Little Rock Slasher case and the status of the investigation.

News reports claim it was a young Black male. No records support that assertion and the surviving victim and area residents named a man in his 40's.

The Little Rock Slasher

The man the surviving victim told us that was her attacker is now 46 years old.
He has served two prison terms in Arkansas for felony convictions of domestic violence. He has also spent time in the State Hospital and a drug treatment center.

Court records show that three days before the first Slasher killing, a family member filed a petition to commit him for addiction treatment claiming in part he was homicidal and addicted to drugs.

They stated he was doing "all kinds of drugs" and his exact whereabouts were unknown. They stated he was known to be "walking up and down the street" and "walked for miles and miles". Additionally, they stated he was "very agitated" and "when you don't give him what he wants when he wants it, he can be violent".

The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office located him and served him with the notice of hearing and copy of the petition on August 23, 2020 at a motel, the day before the first Slasher killing.

At a hearing on August 26, 2020 he was involuntary committed to stay at at treatment facility for 21 days and would be released on September 16, 2020.

Court records reveal that he absconded from the treatment facility prior to his release date and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.

The second Slasher killing occurred on September 23, 2020.

He was picked up on September 25, 2020 and placed back in the Arkansas State Hospital but was released a short time later.

He stayed out of trouble for the rest of 2020.

In April 2021, the third and fourth Slasher indents occurred.

In September 2021, he was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. That case was not resolved until the summer of 2022 after he spent another 10 days in the state hospital.

In November 2021, a family member filed another petition for addiction treatment. He was sent to another treatment facility and released as 2021 ended.

Since then there have been no additional court filings concerning him and no additional attacks attributed to him.

In May of 2021 and again in April of 2022, LRPD and the feckless Little Rock Mayor had little to say to reporters about the Little Rock Slasher case and the status of the investigation.

Don't bother asking LRPD about the Slasher case.

 They responded.

We responded to their response.

They responded to our response to their response.

There is a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the Little Rock Slasher.

We suspect they will never have to pay it and the Little Rock Slasher will never be caught and could strike again.

ASP Trooper Jacob Haynie caught on his own mobile video recordings using the N-word

On November 21, 2023, after one of those questionable PIT maneuvers (the ASP now calls  Precision Immobilization Technique , or PIT maneuvers, Tactical Vehicle Intervention or TVI) ASP rookie trooper and former Hope Arkansas cop Jacob Haynie was caught on his and other ASP mobile video recordings using profanity and the N-word.   ASP policy prohibits the behavior and words Trooper Haynie uttered. That same policy also prohibits actions and behaviors that reflect unfavorably on the ASP. Haynie's wife works at the Hempstead County Assessors office. Wonder if she uses that language at work too?  ### The full videos can be viewed on many of the YouTube Channels that feature ASP videos.  A follower of one channel identifies Haynie as the one uttering the words. Apparently that individual knows Haynie and might have worked with him at Hope PD. ASP claims no one said the words "climb" or "N***a" and the trooper using the fowl language was actually Tyler Gentry. Ri

Three LRPD cops "relieved of duty" over incident at Club Trois

Sources at LRPD have confirmed a tip we received that three LRPD cops, Brad Stewart, Lee Pitts and Justin Sims have been "relieved of duty" in connection with an incident at Club Trois. The story we were told is that Stewart was working off-duty at Club Trois and dealt with an inebriated female club patron by soaking her with pepper spray.  LRPD General Order  ("G.O.") 303 requires that a cop that uses physical force, non-lethal control and compliance devices, on or off-duty, follow certain procedures. Use of pepper spray is a Level 4 event. Here are the specific procedures. LRPD sources tell us that they are trained to call MEMS after they use pepper spray or a taser on an individual. They are to file an incident report and they file an officer's report or letter form (5600-2) with their immediate supervisor for each use of force incident. Here's an example of an officer letter form.   Not a single procedure was followed in this incident. And to make matter
