Conway cop files discrimination lawsuit against city of Conway and police chief

Conway cop Brittany Byrd alleges gender and racial discrimination

The city of Conway has recently been in the news for on-going problems at the school district.

A recently filed federal lawsuit is exposing problems at the Conway Police Department.

The complaint details sketchy and illegal behavior from the Chief on down and the misuse of public funds.

The lawsuit was filed by Conway cop Brittany Byrd. Byrd, an eight year employee with the Conway Police Department, alleges that she has been the victim of all kinds of discrimination and violations of state and federal laws.

Some of the incidents involve a philandering Major and claims of public funds going to his private business.

The lawsuit also points out that Byrd has been the subject of harassment and ridicule for her dating a fellow police officer that happens to be Black.

Little Rock pastor takes his own life after complaint of sexually explict conduct with a minor child

On April 24, 2024, Tyce Michelle Scroggins found what she has described to authorities as "inappropriate text and pictures" on her husband's cellphone. The messages were between her husband, Michael Todd Scroggins, the senior pastor at Moody Chapel AME Church in Little Rock and a minor student at LISA Academy High School. Moody Chapel AME Church An argument ensued about the text messages and Pastor Scroggins left the home. On April 25th, Mrs. Scroggins filed a report with the Little Rock Police Department about the text messages. She also notified LISA Academy administration. On April 28th, Mrs. Scroggins filed a missing person report with the Sherwood Police Department. Sherwood Police put out an alert on social media. On April 30th, Little Rock Police found Pastor Scroggins dead from an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound in his vehicle parked in the back parking lot of the church. PCSSD teacher Reagan Gray is being investigated by LRPD Since December 10, 2023, The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette has published around 20 articles about Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock, AR and an ongoing scandal involving sexual abuse committed by adults upon children and the coverup of that abuse. England High teacher Courtani Bell and former student Kaylin Sullivan On Monday January 8, 2024 at around 6 p.m., an England, AR cop caught Courtani Bell (W/F 29) a teacher at England High School engaged in "public sexual indecency" in the back seat of Bell's car in a public park with a former student, Kaylin Sullivan (B/F 18). Bell is married (for the time being as a source says he's left her) and lives in Sheridan with her hubby Layton. Bell's cuckholded hubby works at the Sheridan Police Department as a cop.
