LRPD told media they bought back 40 weapons - Their records only list 38 stored in their property room. What happened to the other two?

LRPD partnered in a gun buy back on June 4, 2020 and told news media they collected 40 weapons.

But records obtained via a FOI request to LRPD indicate only 38 weapons were logged into their property room on June 6, 2022.

What happened to the other two weapons?

Were they kept by LRPD cops for personal use or as drop guns?

According to the information provided to us by LRPD, they bought back 20 pistols, 10 shotguns and 8 rifles.

On April 24, 2024, Tyce Michelle Scroggins found what she has described to authorities as "inappropriate text and pictures" on her husband's cellphone. The messages were between her husband, Michael Todd Scroggins, the senior pastor at Moody Chapel AME Church in Little Rock and a minor student at LISA Academy High School. Moody Chapel AME Church An argument ensued about the text messages and Pastor Scroggins left the home. On April 25th, Mrs. Scroggins filed a report with the Little Rock Police Department about the text messages. She also notified LISA Academy administration. On April 28th, Mrs. Scroggins filed a missing person report with the Sherwood Police Department. Sherwood Police put out an alert on social media. On April 30th, Little Rock Police found Pastor Scroggins dead from an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound in his vehicle parked in the back parking lot of the church. England High teacher Courtani Bell and former student Kaylin Sullivan On Monday January 8, 2024 at around 6 p.m., an England, AR cop caught Courtani Bell (W/F 29) a teacher at England High School engaged in "public sexual indecency" in the back seat of Bell's car in a public park with a former student, Kaylin Sullivan (B/F 18).
