A bill sponsored by State Senator Scott Flippo (R-Bull Shoals) will prohibit ABC Enforcement Agents from enforcing rules against gambling devices in permitted businesses.
We posted a story on February 2nd (CLICK TO VIEW POST ) about ABC Enforcement agents going after kids at two NW Arkansas family centered businesses for exchanging tickets for candy or prizes.
Many state legislators have complained about ABC Enforcement Agents issuing citations to business in their districts.
Some of those businesses target by the ABC were VFW Posts. One particular VFW Post is frequented by ABC Board member Mickey Powell.
We have also reported that we were contacted by several of these same legislators in regard to information we have obtained about tainted ABC Enforcement Director Boyce Hamlet.
This gives more credence to the rumors circulating that Hamlet is on his last days as ABC Enforcement Director.
It is important to note that Filppo is a Republican. Hamlet has really stepped in it this time and can't play the retard card in this instance like he did when he was fired by the Arkansas State Police.
