Clark County Sheriff's Deputy Steven Tyler Holt |
On September 10, 2025, a warrant for the arrest of Steven Tyler Holt, a Clark County Arkansas Deputy Sheriff, was issued in connection with harassment charges filed by Kira Accor, an ex-girlfriend.
Clark County District Court Judge Billy Jack Gibson issued a no contact order to Deputy Holt that prohibits him from possessing a weapon, firearm or ammunition.
Deputy Holt was not physically arrested, no mugshot was taken nor was he booked into the Clark County Detention Center. He just handed the warrant and given the court date to appear for the charges by the Clark County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Raymond Funderburk. Deputy Holt was not relieved from duty nor were his duty weapons confiscated or surrendered.
A hearing has been set for October 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Clark County District Court.
It's not the first court case involving Deputy Holt and his victim, Kira Accor.
On July 21, 2025, Accor was granted an Ex Parte Order of Protection against Deputy Holt (effective through August 27, 2025). That order also prohibited Deputy Holt from possessing a firearm or ammunition.

Chief Deputy Funderburk served that Ex Parte Order of Protection on Deputy Holt at the Clark County Sheriff's Office that same afternoon.
At a hearing on August 18, 2025 Judge Batson extended the Order of Protection granted on July 21st and would review the matter on September 10th. Deputy Holt was still prohibited from possessing a firearm.
The Clark County Sheriff's Office took no action against Deputy Holt back in July, and in spite of a court order that prohibited him from possessing a weapon, the department allowed him to continue to work as an armed deputy in violation of that court order.
Court records show that Deputy Holt was working and issuing traffic citations during the time he was prohibited from possessing a firearm and should have been relieved from duty.
The Clark County Sheriff's Office finally suspended Deputy Holt on September 16, 2025.
This was after criminal charges were filed for harassment on September 10th.
It's odd that the memo that the Clark County Sheriff's Office provided to us references the Order of Protection issued back in July, the one that stated Deputy Holt could not possess a weapon, and the one that the department took no action against Deputy Holt and allowed him to carry on like nothing happened.
The domestic relations case that involved the Order of Protection was closed once criminal charges were filed. And the judge in the criminal case issued an order that prohibited Deputy Holt from possessing a firearm.
We asked the Clark County Sheriff's Office why they took no action against Deputy Holt in July and did not force him to surrender his duty weapon/credentials and be relieved from duty or placed on leave.
They refused to respond.
No doubt the Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training ("CLEST") will be looking into this matter, especially after we copied them in our emails to the Sheriff's Department.
Stay tuned for updates.

Court records also show that Deputy Holt was sued in June 2025 by Credit One Bank for refusing to pay his credit card bill. A default judgment was entered in that case on September 15th.
Deputy Holt's estranged wife was granted a divorce from him in July 2025, a couple of days before his ex-gf/side-chick obtained that Order of Protection against him.
