Arkansas Department of Corrections Major Ivory McDaniel Arrested on Multiple Felony Charges

Mugshot of  ADC Major Ivory McDaniel According to booking records, Ivory Truall McDaniel was arrested early this morning by Little Rock cops after he beat 23 year old year Joshua Bess with a pair of brass knuckles (an illegal weapon in Arkansas) and stole the cellphone of a 26 year old Tamisha Patton out of her hand while she was calling the police to report the attack on Bess. McDaniel fled the scene at the Arbors of Pleasant Valley apartment complex on Hinson Loop Road and was apprehended by LRPD cops at another apartment complex on Green Mountain Drive.  McDaniel faces three Class D felony charges and one misdemeanor charge. McDaniel is a Major with the Arkansas Department of Correction at the Varner Unit located south of Pine Bluff. Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney Will Jones caught in adulterous relationship with an employee

A few weeks ago, an individual in the know about goings-on in legal circles in the city told us about Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney Will Jones, getting caught having sex in his office with one of his employees. Our source told us it was heard when the cellphone call with Jones was not disconnected before he and his side-piece got after it.  We couldn't get any further details and let it sit.  Today we got confirmation. Sources tell us that Jones and his chief deputy Kelly Ward were known by office staff to be romantically involved. Both are married and apparently did not take their marriage vows too seriously. The press release sent to us and other media organization came from Casey Mote Beard another staff member. Little Rock Police Department violates court order and releases videos and report of a officer related shooting incident

LRPD caught slippin' In October 2023 we reported about a mercenary LRPD cop, Johvoni Antonio McClendon, a Saline County resident,  shooting a young man in the face that was driving away from him on September 30, 2023. McClendon was arrested and charged with  Battery 1st Degree (a Class B Felony) and Assault - 1st Degree ( a Class A Misdemeanor). Click here to read that story . McClendon is currently on trial (hearing is set for November 12-14, 2025) for those serious charges and according to our LRPD sources, payroll records and CLEST records, he was fired in October of 2023 after an administrative hearing was held. Arkansas Educational Television producer arrested for methamphetamine possession

On November 3, 2025, Michael Hibblen, Director of Public Affairs and a  producer at Arkansas PBS (form. Arkansas Educational Television Network - AETN) was pulled over for speeding on Interstate 30 in North Little Rock by Pulaski County Deputy Sheriff William "Bill" Brooks II.  When searching Hibblen's car, Deputy Brooks found 0.9 grams of what he believed to be methamphetamine in the cup holder of the car. Hibblen was transported to the Pulaski County Detention Center and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.     The Pulaski County Sheriff's Department provided the dash and body camera video recorded during the traffic stop. It's not the first time a traffic stop has resulted in Hibblen's arrest. In 2022, he caught a DWI charge. Hibblen worked for KUAR news prior to going to work at Arkansas PBS.
